Bradshaws Mill @ Bradshaws Mill

Dating back to 1821, Bradshaw’s Mill is one of the few mills with a working water wheel in Southern Africa and is recognised as the birthplace of the woollen industry in South Africa.

To view and learn about the fascinating history of the Mill phone the voluntary curator – they will be pleased to meet you at an agreed time (usually 10 minutes)

The Mill is situated about 1, 4km from the Pig & Whistle

Entrance fees: Adults – R40, Children U13 – R20, Seniors Over 65 – R25, Students – R25, Family – R 80

Rape Survivors’ Support Group

Two experienced Clinical Psychologists, Lauren Creese and Pumza Sakasa, are offering a safe and confidential space for survivors of rape to gain support by meeting on a weekly basis.

Available for English, isiXhosa and Afrikaans speakers, 18 years and older and free of charge.
